INFLATION RAMPANT - be warned 14 Years, 3 Months ago
In the Mail today they say food in general is up 7.5% in January.

Some things are up 96%

Insurance has gone up by 20% to 30% in the last month according to the BBC

I was shocked to buy a really lovely ALBA 19 inch flatscreen on Tuesday last week for a fantastic £129 from argos......I picked up their new catalogue yesterday - it had gone up to £159 !!! not only that I brought my Dad a Spotting Telescope from Argos as one of his Xmas prezzies for £59 in December - in the new catalogue it is £99.

The prices in Argos of decent things have gone up by around 20%. This probably reflects the devalueing of the pound by BROWN since last March.

Unless people are well off they are going to get CREDIT SQUEEZED in 2010. Things are going to get worse. Profit levels have been ratcheted up - but the real picture is one of continued recession.

Today BROWN will announce end of recession based on dodgy stats - it is not over - it has not really begun. If I go to the bank today and borrow a million pounds it makes me a millionaire according to the stats. But I have to PAY IT BACK with interest - so in real effect I am a a millionaire debter......New Labour have mortgaged the future with a 20% tax rise added in to the 20% real inflation rate.

Nipped into LIDL discount supermarket today to find their FRESH VEG section where many vegetables had gone up by between 20 and 40% since early December. I have to admit that took me by suprise - I had not realised that food prices were going up that quickly.

If fresh food is up by 30% on average - this means other food will follow in about 6 months time as raw ingredients of ready meals and other things feed through.

There will be a massive upwards inflationary pressure by June.....er....when the Tories are in their first month in power.....interest rates may have to shoot up to try and control it putting many people into real trouble with their mortgages and the knock on effects onto the housing market.

The second and WORSE recession is likely to start in the third quarter of the year. The first quarter and second quarter wont show much movement either way as the economy takes a rest from falling.

We really are looking over the precipice.

Today the BBC went MASSIVE on the recession ending ( ignoring the IRAQ enquiries biggest revelation - the war was illegal ) hilarious news management

if lidl prices went up by 20%, all this means is that they went from 10p per pound to 12p per pounds.
