My least favourite month is November (we'll never see the sun or be warm again) and my next least favourite is bleak Feb when, on the 1st, I have to take down all the lovely colourful cards from my birthday and Christmas and New Year.
Yes, it's a holdover from prison times when the cards lit up my cell and stretched for 2 months throughout December and January but I still keep them up to brighten the room until Feb 1st.
So tomorrow - down they all come!

1st of Feb isn't until Monday, JK, so you can keep your cards up for the weekend.

February can be brightened up - Valentine's Day. We can show LOVE to all our friends and colleagues and family by sending cards. Harder to find cards which are not romantic - but it is possible and I know quite a few people who now do this to cheer themselves up in February. Cant find one ? then use the PC to create a card or MOONPIG.COM.

Those cards can last until EASTER when again Choccy Eggs - or real Eggs - and cards are available to celebrate the "Story" of Easter. Believer and Non believers can all celebrate the idea of "new life" and so on.


I quite like February.......

January is my least favourite month, because Christmas is over and it's a long time till spring.

At least in February we are a bit closer to spring, most of the snowy weather has gone and the nights are getting lighter.

but I love it !.all the horrible kids have gone back to school...everything takes another 4 weeks to get going and one can just laze on the beach all day.
