You see, I think Blair was quite right to perform as he did to the enquiry - although I think he was quite wrong to invade Iraq and back Bush. I don't think he should express "remorse" for doing what he (wrongly) thought was right at the time and since.

Likewise, I cannot see why John Terry sleeping with someone other than his wife should disqualify him from playing football.

I just think Blair's mind must be in a very dark place. Anyone who can live with the knowledge that his/her actions led to thousands of hideous deaths of innocent men, women and children I say is stark raving mad which I believe Blair is.

I also believe Thatcher was and is quite bonkers. They must live in a reality where part of their brain switches off and they can compartmentalise the horror they have enacted.

Blair is someone I have no time for. I'm sure that if I decked the guy next door for dumping rubbish on my lawn and later I found out that it wasn't him I would feel some kind of remorse. There'd be something wrong with me if I didn't. Not sure why Blair should be any different.
