Funnily enough, though glued to the tennis, I did pop over to catch Short and was not impressed. Thought she, like most of the public, went for the easy headline story rather than the more complex reality.
She pointed out, like many, that Blair was harping on about the situation now when what matters is what he decided then and why.
She also highlighted how Blair was going on about Iran when Iran had nothing to do with Saddam, and how he kept mentioning 9/11 when Iraq had nothing to do with 9/11.
Yes; agree with those but essentially she didn't focus on his point that he believed - and I think he's telling the truth - that if we didn't do something then we could be in truly deep shit. I think he was wrong and set about it the wrong way but I think he was genuine and informed and responsible, though wrong.
No I don't think it does Emma and feel Blair and Bush should be behind bars; indeed, I suspect one day they may be... and I still believe Dr David Kelly was murdered with Blair ultimately responsible.

Very important points.
B-Liar also kept up the lie that Al Quaeda were operating in Iraq (at the time) - this is known to be a lie and has frequently been discredited ... but, hey, whats a few lies (and dodgy dossiers) if you need to get your point across ?
I can't stand Clare Short, the only idea I remember her having was to ban page 3 girls, why??. Typical of most women mp's, they focus on laws that are based on jealousy of younger more attractive women (e.g. Jackie Smith's idea to criminalise people that go with prostitutes that have been traffiked (whether they knew or not! not fair jackie).
I once saw Clare Short on a train from Birmingham to London, when I was walking through the first class carriage. Not very socialist of you clare, travelling first class. Typical of most with socialist views, they won't to impose it on others, but not live it themselves.
