38% lower than in 1974.

Media expresses amazement.

Why? It just proves what we all know - the media only cares about A GOOD STORY!

Truth? Reality? Forget it. Inflate the tragedies and watch circulation and ratings rise.

Then spend millions on correcting imaginary problems.

And bankrupt the world, taking money away from real essentials.

Then Alice saw the white rabbit look at his watch...

Very true.

I am hoping that the younger generation make a better world than the current generations from the 50s and 60s who are in power at the moment. The 80s generation should be good. I look forward to them taking over.

How many babies are aborted needlessly though?

My wife and I were advised under the strongest possible language by a Professor of paediatrics to get rid of our baby due to his problems, "he won't live" etc etc.

He is now 3.

The video below is what he has.

They all look absolutely gorgeous Steve; tell us more about Dandy-Walker - I've never even heard about it.

Dandy Walker Syndrome is a rare brain condition where one of the ventricles doesn't form during foetal development and you are left with a fluid filled space in the skull and usually a cyst at the back of the head (sometimes the front) where the brain tissue has attempted to compensate. A percentage of cases this problem can lead to hydrocephalus (water on the brain) but luckily so far we have no problems like that. The ventricle that fails to form causes major issues with the cerebellum.

Every child with DWS is totally different. In our case our son is a very bright, vibrant child, but can't walk and has only a few words, usually drink, good and Makaton sign language for No! (The latter thanks to a BRILLIANT Childrens BBC programme called Something Special). We've just spent the morning in a Supermarket cafe where he was giggling at people walking past outside.

Other children can have severe breathing issues, heart problems and the like. Other than a heart murmur we have no other problems, but developmental and motor skills are an issue.
