Michael Dobbs on BBC Brekkie 14 Years, 2 Months ago
The clip of the magnificent Ian Richardson as Francis Urquhart and the gorgeous Suzanne Harker as Mattie reminded me how utterly brilliant House of Cards was, 20 years ago.

Reshowing time BBC?

One of the best ever political series. Agree about time it was shown again. It does show that power corrupts !

Never got to see it first time round but would love to see it now.

There was also A Very British Coup which I saw last year which was excellent too.

Did anyone see the Guy Jenkin scripted satires called A Very Open Prison and Crossing the Floor, which featured Tom Wilkinson as a Tory MP? They were very good and really demand a DVD release at least.

I have Crossing The Floor on VHS. It's a really rotten copy of a truly superb piece of TV. I'd kill for a DVD. Same with Over Here and In The Red. Brilliant and entirely unavailable.
