Re:Another life ruined by false accusation 14 Years, 2 Months ago
Some people are only too willing to believe the worst about others, even if such allegations are completely without foundation. The woman who did that should have someone do exactly the same to her.
Re:Another life ruined by false accusation 14 Years, 2 Months ago
There should be a severe mandatory sentence for anyone spreading or publishing such malicious lies. A fine of £80 is pathetic and rather than being a deterrent does more to encourage people to do the same. A cheap way to ruin a life.

Don't worry IA - karma has a way of settling the scores. I genuinely believe my false accusers suffered far more than I did. The effect of knowing you lied for money or for sympathy or for attention must be really damaging; all that bile and acid coursing around the system tends to cause far more harm than indigestion.

I agree with JK : those people who basically sell their souls for money and hurt other people will never have peace.
We are designed to LOVE each other - not to kill and cheat and lie about each other. Those people who do that are very sad and I pity them. Can they ever appreciate anything in life when their main aim is to get money from others under false pretences.....no.

It doesn't sound like this was done for money, but I agree that £80 pounds is no deterrent. Totally the wrong message has been sent by this decision.
