TOPIC: Could the Controller of BBC2

Could the Controller of BBC2 14 Years, 2 Months ago
please explain why Monk, probably the best and most consistently inventive TV series to come out of America since The Simpsons, gets shunted away Saturday afternoons when it should be at 9pm?

The first show of the new series, at 2.20pm Saturday, was very clever, funny and entertaining.

Does the controller of BBC2 read these boards? Yes/No?

The only person who could answer that for certain is him, or her (or it - in case BR's lizard people have already taken over the media).

I believe that Jay Hunt is the controller of BBC2. She used to appear as an image consultant on the popular series "Would like to meet".

I used to watch monk, all the time, but recently lost interest in it due to lack of time. Monk seems to be on the "Hallmark" channel all the time so this probably waters down the interest on bbc2.
