It turns out that the National Bullying Helpline is associated with a bullying investigative service... run by Mr Pratt.
It's a damn shame because services such as the National Bullying Helpline could really help people in trouble at work (probably could have helped me if I had known of their existence) but now it's shrouded in severe dodgyness.

I thought she came across very well on Radio 4 this morning. She cleared up some points which were totally misrepresented by the printed media. John Humphries grilled quite harshly but he seemed quite taken aback by her unflustered responses.

for example- if you want to request a copy of their guide not only are you asked to give your name, but also that of your employer- why??? if all you are doing is requesting a guide by email?

so that raises alarm bells with me- who's to say that they didn't receive a general enquiry for info and someone entered 'Prime Minister's Office' or 'Cabinet Office' in the 'employer' field, and they are now using that info to get publicity.
