TOPIC: 5 Days - terrific start
#55086
5 Days - terrific start 14 Years, 2 Months ago
Very good start - exciting, well written and directed. But I seem to remember that was the same with the last one - the multiple car crash - which deteriorated.

Fingers crossed this keeps up the suspense.

I couldn't take to the leading character and so I gave up on it.

Thought it was good but the pace was very, very slow. It did allow time to concentrate on characters though, and I hope that the episodes use this.

I agree, I really enjoyed part 1. A read a preview saying it was a slow start, but advised sticking with it. I did, and I'm glad I did. Looking forward to part 2 tonight. Then I've got to rely on my recently purchased FREEVIEW+ box to record the rest. (Which cost £50, as they are selling them off before they launch Freeview+HD in a few months time!)

Tonights seemed to be concentrating too much on coincidences and the like. Still very watchable though, but quite light if you get what I mean. Not a lot of meat to what are a lot of converging storylines coming together.
