Apparently not visiting Merseyside was one of the conditions of his release. A rule like this could be difficult to keep. His job may require travelling. How would have to explain to his boss that he is not allowed to travel to Merseyside and yet keep his identity a secret, a virtually impossible way to live your life.

Its funny how Yahoo is reporting this story, isn't this some sort of breach of the privacy laws.

Yes, that's what I thought too, Robbie.

Self-righteous media being a law unto themselves yet again.

I would have thought that the conditon would be for his own safety as well as to avoid dredging up any past horror for others.

Although I'm against thus type of restriction -in his case I'd think even he may want to avoid the place.

I'd be interested to know just what sort of care he actually has. If we as a society are truly one were we value or expect redemption we cannot do it half heartedly. It makes the difference bewtween us being civilised or just savages.

But they way the media now rules so much of how the law is administered and in a way that is detrimental to society (it's all about profit) we are so close to returning to the trees it ain't funny.

This is the latest claim. A previous claim was that he got into a fight at work. We can't be sure what the reality is.

It also said in the report that he got into a fight and was involved in drug abuse. The visiting Liverpool story is just an Addendum to the "Getting into a fight" story.
