I agree with the first statement, not so much with the second part. It is more a case that immigrants are cheaper and more open to manipulation, which scrupulous employers like.

I loved Shirley Bassey when she said that London is full of immigrants.

errm, madam.... you are firstly a child of an African immigrant.
