Sad to see that Chester City have been wound up. I'm surprised that they couldn't pay £26,000 in unpaid taxes. This is peanuts in the world of football. Chester is the home town of Michael Owen. You would have thought he could pay a couple of days wages to keep his home town club going.

Lets hope that Chester can come back, just like Aldershot town did a few years ago.

Less than 2,000 average attendance,how can they possibly compete at league level?

Same old story,whether it be pubs/swimming pools/local shops etc,use it or loose it.
