..and it is such a super little internet tool. It's fantastic! They've worked tirelessly to finish it, the UK now completed, but the insane will demand its removal...the tabloids who are terrified of the internet for fear of losing sales will use Street View to scare the masses rigid...your children are at risk...your home is at risk...Street View is evil...blah blah blah..

I've figured it all out. The media don't like the internet. When they aren't sueing You Tube they are tirelessly figuring out ways to demonise the web. The government hate the internet...it allows people to be heard and seen...it gives the common man a voice.

Now we have mad parents confiscating lap tops because nasty stuff is out there.

This isn't just my imagination. Internet danger is a seed being planted by the tabloids and the media, and Street View will soon be history. You Tube, Facebook and message forums such as this one will be the next big targets.

My advice? Boycott the tabloids, don't pay your TV license fee, and give them grief.

Of course the media hate the internet unless they control it. It's anarchy..wonderful. Everyone can be a publisher and what's more..do extremely well as the dreaded Matt Drudge demonstrated, even influence elections.

Why would the media or government like the internet..they can't control and what they control, they hate.

The kiddie porn hysteria is a Trojan Horse to seize control Just as the vile AG Gonazles in the US announced there were one billion child porn sites..sheer madness.

As for google view..I love it but when I look up my old residences the streets look very grotty including Notting Hill..and grey.

There was talk at the UN recently of requiring everybody on Earth to have a 'licence' issued by their respective governments before they could legally use the internet.

Fears over the internet are being exploited to force a world government upon us.

Street view is brilliant, and I can't wait to get my google phone and never lose my way again (I'm terrible with maps).

YAY!! My road is finally on google street views. Judging by the wreath at the war memorial and a store that was still not quite opened, this was done in late November last year. I see they managed to arrive on dustbin day.
