Seems to me that you need to know where this base is before you can search for it on google street view. I tried to search for it and all I got from google maps was the SAS computer company in the USA. But I did find the exact location of West Point Military Academy simply by entering "west point" into google. It's not on street view, but when you have the exact location why would you need a photo?
Does google street view really provide detailed maps and plans of top secret installations (or even places you can drive past and view openly)? It's called street view because it's the view you get from the street.
It's been announced by the MoD that the image of the SAS base will remain on google. “It would be impractical to ask Google to withdraw images as they can be easily obtained from other sources over which we have no influence.”
