I tipped Arsenal at the start of the season and, despite yesterday's hiccup, still think they can win it.

Next weekends match between Chelsea and Man Utd will probably be the decider. I would prefer Arsenal to win, although I think it may be too late for them after yesterdays draw with Birmingham.

Very exciting. Same teams as last year. And the year before that. And the year before that. And it will probably be the same next year too.

It would be great if it goes right to the wire with three teams involved. Set us up nicely for the world cup.

The exciting bit is the race for fourth place. If it doesn't go to Liverpool then it'll be the first time in ages that the monopoly of the BIG FOUR has been broken. It looks like it will be Manchester City, although I would rather it was Tottenham because they haven't been given a bankroll that enables them to just buy up the top talent.

And we're Redknapp fans here too, Emma.

And it would prove that an English manager can still do the business.

Ask any Portsmouth fans what they think of Harry Redknapp and they will tell you in no uncertain terms. Since leaving Pompey he as taken all of their best players at knockdown prices and thus helped to put them in a state of bankruptcy. Every club he has been at before is now in grave financial problems Bournemouth, West Ham, Southampton, and now Portsmouth.

He left Portsmouth a few years ago claiming he was going to retire, then a few weeks later he pitched up at arch rivals Southampton with a "sudden" change of heart. When he returned to Portsmouth he overspent buying players that Portsmouth couldn't really afford like Defoe, Crouch, Sol Campbell, and David James. This has left them in the financial turmoil that they now find themselves in. god help spurs in the next few years.

If Redknapp bought Portsmouth's best players at knockdown prices then I have to assume that Portsmouth sold them at knock down prices, which puts at least half the blame on the club itself. Welcome to the reality of modern professional football where managers switch clubs with great frequency. I believe Curbishly and Big Sam both quit "take a break" and fell into other management jobs almost immediately. Portsmouth need to accept the fact that they are being relegated because haven't played well enough this season. Their financial difficulties are more to do with post Redknapp mismanagement at various levels.

World Cup ... (btw does anyone know dates when this nonsense is on so we can arrange to be away?)

My prediction - exactly as it has been in every other competition over the last 50 years -

1. England lose first group match and the press howls for blood.
2. England just about scrape creditable result in second game, and everyone crosses their fingers.
3. England lose abysmally in final game. Go home.
