Finally got round to watching the movie 28 Weeks Later on Ch4 last night. In 28 Days Later they clearly said that before commnications went down there were reports of how the virus had spread to Paris and New York, but in this follow up movie it had been confined to mainland UK. Some bad continuity there.

One or two good performances but no story to speak of. Love the names of the child actors - Imogen Poots and Mackintosh Muggleton. They could have been created by Dickens.

Not a patch on the first one I didn't think.

Interesting trivia...when they were filming the first film (28 Days Later) the 9/11 attacks took place in the states. The cast and crew would rush off set in between takes to catch the unfolding of the days events on portable TV's and radios.
