interesting piece that say pollsters may not being told the truth.

If someone like me who has never consdered voting Tory in his life and comes from a dedicated Labour family, is about to boot Brown & Co, I believe there are tens of thousands similarly minded-enough in enough seats to oust Labour...which means the Cons are in for 10 years.

I believe Nu Labour are in for some heavy punishment.

There was a piece in (I think) the Independent a few days ago which also drew parallels with the 1992 election where people were ashamed to tell pollsters they were going to vote Tory, but did so in the privacy of the polling booth.

However, that piece speculated that this time we may have a reversal of that, and people might be embarrassed to tell pollsters they are going to vote Labour, as Gordon Brown is so unpopular. Pure speculation of course, but it is just possible.

I still think the Tories will get in, alas.

My local candidate (for New Lie-Bour) never mentions his Party in his latest handout at all ! You have to work-out which party he represents judging by the attacks he makes on the other candidates.

Also, the leaflet never mentions God-Awful Gordy at all either !

Could it be that even the New Lie-Bour candidates know that Gordy is a liability and will put-off voters ?

I can predict one reason why Labour will not win this election.
The SNP!
Labour rely quite heavily on Scottish seats which might fall to the SNP as voters turn their backs on the big three parties. Even Gordon Brown might find himself jobless.
