I have a very old leather Bum Bag - extremely trendy in the 60s; then totally out of fashion; now, I gather, back in style but always incredibly useful.
It really has fallen to pieces so I bought a new one at a shop - £5. Cheap and nasty. The zips broke. So I got one on the Internet - £15. I hate it. Awful. So today I went to Harrods. Where they are now called Waist Packs - very stylish, lovely and smart, great zips, strong straps, hook for mobile, splendid - by Tumi.
Bum bags or fanny packs as the Yanks call them. A signal to thiefs that your an easy target. Best found on those who choose to wear socks with sandals. I would avoid at all costs JK. A holster for pound coins you say? Now your talking.
I've now registered my new bum bag. If lost it has a number that the finder can call collect and it will be returned to me free of charge from anywhere in the world.
