Anyone Up watching the election coverage ? 14 Years ago
I see some of you are signed in ?

BBC singing the praises of New Labour and suggesting that even if the TORIES win ( and the exit poll says they will ) then Labour will stay in power !!! Propped up by other parties ?

Dreadful if that happens when the country has voted against BROWN - the man takes no notice of the electorate.

Oh come on, BR, they're not suggesting that. Mandelson, predictably, claimed they'd try and then Dimbleby et al have, quite rightly, expressed amazement at his cheek.

By the way, what an utter shambles with the locked-out voters! An increased turnout has been predicted for weeks, but these dullards appear to have been taken by surprise!

Yep I'll be up all night (depends of Mr JK is too!).

Interesting stuff. Had thought about going round the stations, but the BBC coverage is usually the best and it's been good, Bruce Forsyth aside, which was utterly embarrassing, so far.

I've turned over to Sky News. I can't stand this celebrity dumbing down nonsense any longer from the BBC - Bruce Forsyth, Joan Collins????. Sorry Dimbles.

I thought the BBC was vastly superior. Adam Boulton is a terrible anchor man, and the whole coverage on Sky was far too cluttered and unimaginative.

I thought the BBC coverage was very good, but I didn't watch the others so cannot compare them. It's nothing new to bring a few celebs in for light relief, and it's not as though they took over the show.

My nomination for the most repellant performer throughout the night - and into today - is Harriet Harman. She epitomises all that's wrong with politicians these days. Someone like Alan Johnson, to his great credit, still behaves like a real human being, and you can see him twitch and blush slightly whenever he catches himself talking crap. Harman, on the other hand, is a stunningly shameless robot, responding to every setback with the same ludicrous claptrap - it just oozes contempt for the viewers. Absolutely vomit-inducing.

Fiona Bruce wearing a red AND blue scarf for the six o'clock news: surely we can allow scarves a bit of leeway? I guess the Daily Mail have a two page 'TV's biased neck wear' picture spread set up.
