Demonstration for Electoral Reform outside Lib Dem Meeting 14 Years ago
While Clegg and his team are inside discussing tactics. The BBC were taken by surprise, estmating a couple of hundred, the police said it's over a thousand.
This will be very interesting.
The crowd is very loud. Apparently they are from a range of organisations/parties, and they are chanting very loudly for electoral reform and that they want to speak to Nick Clegg.
What will he do? He can't really leave the meeting without saying anything as the place is swarmed. It is putting pressure on him to declare his position on this.

The BBC managed to track down a cartoonist's idea of a LibDem stereotype today: thinning long hair, earrings, tramp clothes and sandals, with the name of "Joe Peace". And he seemed to think Clegg could 'smuggle in' a plan to win PR, get it discussed and implemented withing a few months and then call an election and triumph. Say good night to the folks, Gracie. I doubt sensible LibDems were too pleased to see this inverted popinjay depicted as representative of them and their views.
