TOPIC: ABM: anyone but Miliband
#58010
ABM: anyone but Miliband 13 Years, 12 Months ago
Why on earth is this guy getting so much support? Brother Ed at least seems a reasonably warm sort, but David is like Blair with zero charm, a sort of New Labour prototype that Mandelson rejected as too robotic and sent back to the labs. He looks wet, he sounds dull and he ought to be cast as Iago in the next production of Othello. Is this REALLY the best that Labour can do? I really, really, hope not.

I agree with this. I hope Milliband doesn't become leader. I remember him only a couple of years ago speaking of the need to bring more immigrants over from Africa (more cheap labour). For goodness sake we have 2.5 million unemployed.

I guess that labour are thinking youth = success, as was shown by the success of Blair, Cameron, and Clegg and the failure of has-been tory leaders such as Iain Duncan-Smith and a plethora of others.
