You can get away with murder with a well cut black suit, but blue, boys,...you really have to check the shade, the lighting, the tummy, everything... best go for black. And for god's sake only do up the middle of the three buttons! Blair, even now, wears suits that are probably bespoke but they look on him like ASDA off the peg cast-offs.
