Girl, 8, NOT RAPED

For crying out loud. And I really do mean 'for crying out loud'.

Perhaps soon people will start listening instead of hearing.

Maybe the "experts" will try to convince us that this was a one off case and that no other children would lie about such a thing. And those who don't want to consider the possibility that it might have happened before, resulting in wrongful convictions, will lap up the whatever the "experts" tell them.

On this subject, I hope someone approaches the new government with the findings of the all party committee on false accusations of sexual assault which were buried by Tony Blair. In this latest case, as with numerous others, there was clearly no evidence that a crime had even been committed, let alone that the accused were guilty. It demonstrates a deep flaw in our legal system.

...But we all know that (according to the ´experts´) children NEVER lie about such things!

In fact the experts say that most of our memories are manipulated by ourselves in order to fit what we want to think. That is EVERYONE's memories. Hence you get old people saying how great the War was - when in fact it was probably far from a good experience to be bombed daily and get evacuated to the smelly countryside without your parents.

It is time for HISTORIC PROSECUTIONS based on "memories" to be stopped - and a time limit of 5 years for historic allegations to be brought in. This industry that the POLICE and LAWYERS have created to get silly cases into court ( and ALL of them are silly ) is disgusting. It ruins lives and often has no basis in any evidence or fact.

For many years the TEACHER UNIONS have been fighting for this to happen - but have been ignored by successive Governments.

It is important that ALL DECENT people stand up after this crazy COURT CASE with these poor children ( all three of them ) who have been used and abused by the SYSTEM.

The POLICE and CPS should stand trial for emotional abuse of these three children. This is provable because it has happened in front of a court and the media.

It is time for these silly cases to be stopped. Time for some common sense.

I know next to nothing about this case, I've only seen a couple of news reports, one yesterday and one this evening on C4 news. Although tonight's C4 coverage made it clear that the girl has admitted making up the whole thing the report was signed off with the words "the case continues". Am I missing something or was that a mistake? Either the girl was raped {my wife tells me that she heard yesterday that the court had heard that a medical exam had shown her to be virgo intacta and in fact could find no evidence at all of any kind of sexual activity whatsoever} or she wasn't. If she wasn't, surely that is an end to things in any rational world?

The prosecution will possibly claim that the case must continue because of the possibility that the girl has been threatened into claiming it was a lie.

I followed a case a few years ago where a man was accused, by a young girl, of probing her with his finger. The defence barrister produced the official medical report which showed that such a probing could not have happened, as a result of which the jury returned a verdict of not guilty. This left me wondering why the case was ever brought to court. Before the trial the police had claimed to have a "huge amount of evidence", but the trial showed that they had none whatsoever.

Another life ruined for no reason.

Defence lawyers INTENTIONALLY let the cases go to court in order TO GET PAID MORE MONEY.
They tell defendants that the best place to challenge the lack of evidence is at a trial. For many people even if they win by this time their careers are over - their reputations ruined - and their lives in ruins. All because DEFENCE LAWYERS want TO GET PAID.

There are mechanisms in courts to challenge cases from the day they are brought in the interest of fairness. Yet virtually no lawyers bring challenges because it is not "the done thing" because winning a case in TRIAL is a feather in the cap - and adds to their reputation ( never mind the lack of evidence or even opposite evidence )

Our JUSTICE SYSTEM is one big GRAVY TRAIN.

Time to save another BILLION by ending CASES WITH NO EVIDENCE where it is one person or group of persons against another or another group of persons.

This CASE has shown that our JUSTICE SYSTEM is broken and needs repair. These THREE kids have been thrown to the LIONS - appalling abuse by our JUSTICE SYSTEM.
