Perhaps it is time to end the 100% reliance on the evidence value of DNA? Unless something is 100% correct and accurate, then it is not 100% safe to convict someone using it.

DNA should now become just another piece in the evidence chain, and not something the Police and CPS rely on to replace actual police work and real evidence.

The police have long used DNA as a īGo to jail free cardī.

The fact that it can be manipulated means the possibility of someone being stitched-up now exists...

Oh dear.

perhaps the Police might have to spend some of their £15 billion on actual detective work - rather than relying on "magic bullets" of DNA and Stitch Ups.
