Friday food post - potatoes 14 Years ago

I absolutely love potatoes in every form; mashed with cream, butter, salt and pepper; roast in goose fat; chips; colcannon with delicious greens; au gratin with cheese; croquettes; rosti; there are so many things you can do with potatoes - tonight, with my chicken, tiny boiled new potatoes in butter and mint.

and The One Show are doing a feature on the Capercailie - the biggest grouse in the world that became extinct. I hate to admit it but I ate one 40 years ago. Delicious.
