Jonathan Ross now unspeakably self indulgent 13 Years, 11 Months ago
on R2 today he interrupted virtually every answer by James Nesbitt when he and his "zoo" weren't cackling and chortling.

Quite ghastly indecipherable radio.

I think Ross is losing the plot and it's just as well that his contract with the beeb will be ending. Last night on his tv show he was involved in a play fight with Ross Noble, it was quite embarrassing to watch, I think the mid-life crisis is carrying on far too long

Funny you should say that Robbie; I started watching, dozed off, was half awake, could hear what was going on and was so bored by the idea that I never bothered to open my eyes; reached out; switched off the telly; went into deep sleep.

Demob happy.....not trying anymore. Had enough.....messing about.

He will be back with something good.

I've found him unbearable for years. I used to like him, and felt sorry for him when he was reduced to hosting a talent show for ITV, but my god his ego went through the roof when he got his chat show. The sad thing is there's a perfectly decent bloke somewhere there beneath the idiotic clothes and the ludicrous 'comic' pose.

I think that when his BBC contract ends, it is very likely to be the beginning of the end for Jonathan Ross.
He might well go the same way as Simon Dee- another big head who thought he was bigger than the BBC (long before my time, mind you!).
Jonathan Ross's chat show is old hat now and there's nothing particularly cutting edge or innovating about it. More often than not, his guests are boring as well.
Time for new ideas and new people.

He ripped off so much from Letterman, but, for all his 'irreverent' image, he continued to lack Letterman's ability to puncture pomposity. Letterman's glorious disdain for his guest Paris Hilton, for example, was precisely the kind of withering response that Ross never had the guts to show, preferring instead to seem glib and/or resort to cringeworthy sexual double entendres. Behind all of that 'look at me' posing, Ross remained as soft a touch as Des O'Connor.
