With the crazy news of a PAGAN POLICE ASSOCIATION to add to all the other crazy groups within the UK police at last Christians are standing up and being heard.

This draws the battle lines between Christians and the Police in the UK.

Basically as a Christian I believe our Police are an institution that is now out of control - and in religious terms "not of God". The bible is clear that you should know the goodness of people by the "fruits of the Spirit" the greatest gift of which is LOVE. So if you meet people who show LOVE then God will be pleased LOVE is what it is all about. I dont see enough LOVE from the POLICE - though there are some promising signs in some areas which I may refer to in future threads.

I'm actualy surprised there is a Pagan Police association as it shows that all police can't be put in that little box of thinking we like to sometimes.

I'd welcome more diversity in the police and I reckon the porblems all stem from the top as they always do when an a huge oganisation is out of control. Certainly the police do have huge problems but I believe that begins with politicians led by the nose by tabloids and then down through the ranks.

I was just re-reading the whole House of Horors tale about Jersey..probably totally forgotten by the world now ( but ..what 2/3 years ago ?)but the result of a handful of coppers out of control..pedo hysteria at it's best whipped up by the media...some genuine cops in London despairing of the whole affair as it skyrocketed and a wasted cost of about 30 million pounds.
