It is shocking to think UK Police can turn up on your doorstep and arrest you and then send you to a foreign country to serve a 16 year sentence for something you could not have done.
This is the UK justice system at work.
The man had no trial - no appeal - did not know anything about the allegations of murder against him - how could he ? he was an albanian.
Yet UK POLICE just arrested him and sent him abroad without as much as questioning what was happening.
This shows how our country needs to stop ALL extradition. In addition no one should be arrested in the UK unless there is EVIDENCE against them - not just allegations.
Until we re-balance the justice system in favour of EVIDENCE/PROOF we will see thousands of miscarriages of justice like this.
The MEDIA really need to campaign for EVIDENCE based POLICING rather than SUSPICION based POLICING which has become epidemic under NEW LABOUR.
