Everyone knows silly short prison sentences do not actually work. The people who get sent to prison for 6 months lose their jobs - their home and become a drain on Society.

Surely it is better that motoring offences etc are dealt with by Community Sentences than costing us billions in taxpayer's money - when that money should be spent on things like NHS and schools.

The "in and out" system that has developed in UK prisons just means one thing - worse re-offending rates and us the public less safe.

At last people feel free to speak out the truth.

We also want to see cuts to bloated salaries in tomorrow's budget for highly paid Public employees. But those on under less than £30K a year should not be touched.

It is time to address the massive inequalities of New Labour in society and make the UK a fairer place.

By reducing the prison population it will not only save money - it will put resources where they are needed rather than spread them too thinly.

Lets hope they dont bottle any of their proposals/
