Commonly known as "mowing the grass" - the idea that crime is initiated by the Police in order to create work for themselves.

They also prosecute people they dont like and celebs rather than dealing with real criminals who they need to continue crime in order for them to have a job and get paid.

I dont think we need a Police force anywhere near the size that it currently is. In the daytime we could probably do with virtually no police. Security firms could take over event management safely.

In the evenings the Police clean up the streets from drunk and violent types - but if drugs were legalised then probably we would see crime HALF or even more instantly. In fact alcohol is more dangerous as drug than most that are banned.

Police officers are CONVICTED of supplying guns, in the very same area where a man (with unstable background) had killed people with an illegal gun ?
