Replays like Burton v Man Utd and Exeter v Man Utd and Stevenage v Newcastle have been the stuff of legend - not forgetting the Ronnie Radford Replay and famous goal.

The FA CUP is still my favourite football tournament - because you can get literally part time town teams play the elite of the World Clubs. There is no other competition in the World that offers this incredible competitive edge.

The 3rd Round would die if they scrapped replays.

I think the World Cup has put that claim to bed, well and truly.

For example, in the World Cup semi's, of the 60+ players involved - only 7 were from the Premier League. Just over 10%.

Our clubs have dominated the European Champions League during the last 50 years apart from when we were banned. So I would say they are among the elite.

This league only started in 1999; three English teams won it.

Its forerunner, the European Cup ran from 1960 to 1999; eight English teams won it.

In the last 5 years there have been at least one and often 3 of the teams in the last 4 - hence the word domination. In 2009 both finalists were Englsh. That is pretty dominant.

In the 80s Liverpool and Villa gave hardly any other team a look in. Then they banned us from Europe in order to give themselves a chance !!!

Italy - Spain - Germany and England dominate the European Champions League and European Cup - and I would say that we have had more teams to win it than any of the other countries.
