You forget I was indeed in his position,with a bottle of poison hidden in my pocket for if the verdict went wrong.
He did it himself,that is the difference,and having lost all hope of dignity he did indeed do the right thing.Living such a lowly life after such achievements would have indeed been torture.
You can't blame the media for this,he put himself in the spotlight by standing for public office,and admitted his guilt readily.There must have been ample proof of this.
Never heard of gays being pressurized to commit suicide,in fact you'd be more than likely to be pressured into doing it than to commit hari-kari over being found out.Just ask JK about his school experiences,

I expect this man saw his life unravelling before him and saw no way out..financially or otherwise.
This is the problem with so-called 'sex crimes' and the hysteria surrounding them...no-one is ever allowed to forget it and they become fodder for the public's perverted desite to read and relsh all the details endlessly.
I believe asasination is the correct word..the media can drive people to do unreasonbable things like take their own life.
Remember ..he may have left a family behind and that includes children in an extended family who pay the price.
But apparently it's OK for a so-called offendors children to be abused in the process.
