More than 1,000 girls aged 11 and 12 have been prescribed the contraceptive pill by family doctors, a fivefold increase in the past decade.

How can a State have laws that make it illegal to do something then actually provide the tools with which to break the law ?

Hypocrisy of the highest order.

Either we have an AGE OF CONSENT that is enforced without any favour - e.g no contraception for anyone under 16 - prosecution of ALL who break the law - no bending the law with the comment "everyone is at it"

or

There needs to be a rethink about the whole situation.

It seems crazy that the State will be prosecuting people for having sex with a 15 year old within a relationship - yet they are handing out contraception to Primary School pupils at the same time.....

As a country we are seriously screwed up.

This Sunday Times article comes on the day of SARAH's LAW....

Surely a better way to protect children would be to enforce the law and make it illegal for any contraception to be given to Under 16s. That way the line is drawn in the sand and there will be no doubt at all in anyone's mind that Child Sex is wrong.

A combination of bad laws has made PAEDOPHILIA acceptable to the STATE which now openly is sponsoring it for children as young as 11 ( maybe younger ? because I am sure they are covering that up )
