... and you actually believe what these (Mad) farmers tell you?

They have a vested intesrest - just as those who imported the clones - in telling you whatever you want to hear as long as you buy their poison!

I am sure there are some mad farmers - but the majority including people in my family who are farmers are really good people. They dont do spin.

I'm always surprised by how many farmers seem to hate people. Does farming make them misanthropic, or do misanthropes have an elective affinity for farming?

Comes from living in isolated communities, where the only other people they ever met up with (and bred with) were the people on the neighbouring farm (who were probably descended from their own family anyway) - hence the prevalence of mongolism in the countryside, now largely eliminated in rural areas.

Time to start growing your own vegies in your back garden..even a window box as I do with tomatoes and it works amazingly well.

My prediction-in 10 years every house with a square foot of ground will be growing their own food and running chook pens again (illegal now in Sydney suburban back yards but a lobby group has almost got the rule overturned)
