Surely it is time to end this "Witch-hunt" against Priests. 95% of those investigated are innocent and only a handful are actually guilty of any crime. Yet in the UK - USA and UK it seems it is open season on anyone who happens to be a Christian.

Priests are at the forefront of this hunt because they represent the Christians.

There is inevitably no evidence - just allegations.

Funny how when POLICE kill people on CCTV and with witnesses - the system finds TECHNICALITIES to stop then even being charged......

Yet if a Christian Priest is accused then they are rushed to trial without any evidence at all in most cases.

Good story - and it stinks.

I really feel that we are living in some very dark times.

I agree with you BR and I abhor the media image that has been promoted about priests of the Catholic Church.

I'm not a Catholic (although I was once married to an Irish one)but I have met in my time dozens and dozens of genuine priests and nuns who are so close to the ideals of JC that I would make them all Saints if I had the power.

They are in the vast majority but they are overshadowed by the handful of miscreants.

The Catholic Church particularly in Ireland has been under severe attack.
