The totally flooded New York - except for the Twin Towers... a black President? (Morgan Freeman - far more convincing than Barack)... well it was made in 1998. A mere 12 years ago. I remember seeing it in the cinema and a couple of younger guys behind us said 'America will never accept a black president'. Was an excellent film, and yes Morgan Freeman was brilliant as the President. I also thought that Duvall and the female reporter played good parts.
