While I wouldn't have a clue as to guilt or innocence in this case I see several worrying aspects about it.
He says ""People say to me - 'why aren't you remorseful?' You can't be remorseful for something you haven't done."
I know 2 people who were under enmormous pressure in jail to attend courses where they had to admit there 'crime' in psychiatric groups whilst they maintained their innocence.
One refused to and had to do his whole term. The other did in a terrible Catch 22 situation and got early release and his lawyer says he cannot continue to maintain his innocence.
And "victim's groups" are an absolute scourge on the legal system and should never be ever given credence or media airtime. They are no better than professional vigilante groups.
