Surely TEACHERS must remain ANON until they are convicted or their career will be undermined to such an extent they can never teach again because of the nature of the job.

Surely INNOCENT UNTIL PROVEN GUILTY ( e.g convicted ) is still our legal system in the UK>

For teachers ALLEGATIONS alone will be on their CRB CHECK and can stop them getting a job. Which means that for a CHILD WHO falls out with their teacher ( and many CHAVS will do this ) they know they can effectively kill that teacher's career stone dead with just an ALLEGATION ( which even if unfounded ) which will be on that teacher's record for LIFE.

Teachers need special treatment because of the sensitive nature of their jobs. I would say once again to anyone wishing to teach - UNTIL THE LAW CHANGES to protect you DONT TEACH.

1 in 4 teachers is now the victim of false allegations whilst at school and as many as 1 in 2 of those who leave schools. The media is full of historic cases against teachers by compensation seeking chavs.

As JK said 10 years ago - the POLICE and LEGAL SYSTEM were setting a precedent which would see SOCIETY undermine itself.

Teachers no longer have any discipline or respect because they are too frightened by the power the Chav Students in their classes now wield.

One allegation can ruin their career - so no wonder the kids are revolting at most schools which are not decent.

New Labour has covered this up - will the TORIES do the same ?
