Princess Anne tonight 13 Years, 8 Months ago
I'm a big fan; there's a feisty quality to her, inherited, I suspect from her magnificent Dad.

I can never decide. I like the feistiness, as you say, but she also seems to assume, until proven otherwise, that everyone she meets is a moron. Not too keen on that!

The one who was born on a kitchen table and had to be smuggled out of his homeland (in a washing basket) in the dead of night ?

I like her no nonsense approach but she did once marry that dim guy.

I was driving through London some decades ago in my little Mini and stopped at a red light and looked into the Roller next to me.

Anne and some friends were in the back seat-it was the first time I'd seen a Royal. She actually gave the Royal wave and laughed..they all looked like they were pissed.

..oh I forgot..I was once waiting for the Queen when I was 6 and in a school line-up but I fainted and never got to see her

And I bumped into the Queen Mum as she left the Ritz for tea (we were going in) and she smiled and nodded at us; must have been over 100 then; bad teeth.
