Delighted by the BBC2 show on E numbers which totally exonerated MSG from any bad effects - I love it and have added it to my food for 65 years.

Wont have a word to say against it either. Food is soooo bland and tasteless without it. Knorr stock cubes arent quite the same without MSG.

I have never had a problem with MSG and always wondered why it was heavily moaned about. Another urban myth. However, the artificial sweeteners that companies use are more suspect than people think. Aspartame in particular is quite a dangerous chemical I have read.

Chinese food in particular benefits from MSG and I will cooking a proper chinese curry tonight using an authentic curry power which of course includes MSG and which is very very tasty and so I agree with you JK that this is good news.

The second show on e numbers was even better - he baked a cake using his own bodily fluids; fascinating series.
