TOPIC: A Question of Sport

A Question of Sport 13 Years, 8 Months ago
I'm not a big sports fan but my Mum used to love this and adored Sue Barker and I've decided; it's a feelgood series because it seems to be a lot of nice people enjoying themselves.

That's funny, my Mum seems to be obsessed with this programme. She takes it all to heart, even the neanderthal baldy ex-rugby bloke looking at others in a 'strange way'. She's normally very easygoing but she gets very 'het up' about this. One has to admire it for that, I guess!

Utter tosh. Looking at todays quiz panel shows makes it seem dated and its a bit too cosy for my liking. Theres my half pennys worth.

I hate sport but as a kid loved watching it when David Coleman, Bill Beaumont, and Emlyn Hughes were the anchors as they seemed to gel the programme together.

Maybe when I get older I will appreciate it as well....because I loved it when I was very young but cant stand to watch it when I grew up.....it has the feel of LAST OF THE SUMMER WINE to me - a sort of wind down programme......
