Know everyone knows how I feel when West Ham lost the cup.

But this is even more devasting we need a bloody new squad for Euro 2008.

Well, that nonsense is over with for another 40 years ! 17 Years, 10 Months ago
The ballyhoo surrounding the team (and their hopes) has been pityful, because anyone could see that they were not a World beating side. In the end they made the last eight (just !) - thus confirming their current FIFA ranking.

The hoohaa around Fat Wayne has been delusional bordering on the insane ! He has not actually scored for over 2 years for England, yet everone was talking as if he was a Messiah who could win it on his own - even with a broken foot !

His temperament was always a big worry - as he proved today. He's simply too immature, and will "burn out" (just like Gazza) very quickly.

The real blame must lie with Erikkson - who allowed the team to become an "old boys club" letting people who should have been dropped (Owen / Beckham) become institutions - even if they were hopelessly out of form (Beckham 2002 / Owen 2006).

His final disaster was to pick a team with only 4 strikers - one who was not good enough for Real Madrid (and hadn't actually played a game at all this year) / one with a broken foot / one who he has never actually seen play (and who has never played at Premiership level, let alone World Cup), plus a lamp-post that he tried to ditch at every opportunity - but always had to recall because he simply didn't have anything else to offer.

And he gets five million a year for this .........?
