Life is so good at kicking people in the teeth.

New job - new baby after losing his son.....and now this.

Even though I am Christian I do sometimes wonder why life is so cruel. The only thing I can think is that this is what makes life a struggle and makes the highs so good when the lows can be so awful. If we were like robots and had no feelings then we would not be able to be so beautiful at times and so creative......and sadly it means being hurt is part of that package.

Everyone has to die sometime - it's never "convenient".

Sadly his Father has died it has been just announced.

Everyone has to die - but that does not make it hurt any less unless you have absolutely no feelings and losing a parent ( or a child ) or partner will always hurt more than anything else in life. Even losing close friends can be horrible.

I still miss my Mum dreadfully and it's been three years now.

All part of life (and death) unfortunately.

Let's hope he can find time to grieve in private.

...and JK, you never get over it ... but eventually you come to terms with it.
