1. We should cut the POLICE by 40% not 20% this can be done by the following :
a) Cut overtime pay by 80%
b) Stop investigating any cases over 10 years old
c) Get rid of PCSOs
d) Close down "Office" Police Stations which are a total waste of money.
e) Get rid of Paperwork introduced by New Labour and link Police Directly to the PNC so they dont have to write up notes anymore which takes up 75% of their time. This would free them to be on the beat most of the time.
f ) Cut the number of Police vehicles by 50% - they are not necessary


2. We should cut the Prisons by 40%
a) Only jail for sentences over 2 years.
b) Only remand when someone has a "breaking bail" conviction or a previous 2 year sentence against them - consider them innocent until the trial in all cases.
c) Stop all cases that only have allegations and no forensic evidence
d) Cut the prison population by 40% thus meaning that we would need 40% less Prison officers etc. and do this through non recriutment as the prison numbers go down.
e ) Offer community sentences to do all the work needed in local communities such as litter collection - painting/decorating - and so on. This would free up local resources. Each area would have "Teams" supervised by experts.

3. TAX and BENEFITS
Simplify the tax system and sack 40% of those who work in TAX and BENEFITS. Dont CUT benefits at all - just make it simple and then it becomes clear who is worth or not.

4. DEFENCE

Take the troops out of AFGANISTAN immediately.
Stop backing USA wars unless they pay for them

5. BANKERS

Tax those who work for banks at a new tax rate of 60% on their bonuses and pay. They got us into this mess and they should be the ones who PAY to get us out of this mess.
Tax those who work in financial services at these rates as well until the deficit is restored to 2008 pre banking crisis levels.

We need bigger cuts. They should not be targeted at the WEAK AND VULNERABLE. It should be the POLICE and DEFENCE and BANKERS who get hammered - not the poor and sick.
