tie itself in knots painting the BBC not increasing the licence fee as a good thing; the Murdoch papers are so used to slagging off the BBC they have to find bad things about it. Hilarious.

The bigger threat to NEWS INTERNATIONAL would be a privatised BBC with a subsidy like BT in the telcomunications market.

Can you imagine how the BBC would take 50% min of SKY's business and if they also started a NEWSPAPER with their journalists they would undermine The Times and The Sun as well.

Murdoch's worst nightmare is a PRIVATISED BBC - because he would lose this commerical place.

In addition a Privatised BBC Sport would bid for PREMIER LEAGUE football and with adverts and their experience would be likely to take it away from SKY. Then we would see 50% of SKY customers LEAVE Murdoch and his empire in the UK would collapse.

This is another reason why I want to see the LICENSE FEE scrapped and the BBC floated on the STOCK MARKET. It is an outdated organisation which is far better to float than say the Post OFfice.

It would be profitable as well for shareholders. The skill and buildings alone would make its value massive on floatation and bring in BILLIONS for the cash strapped Government

PRIVATISE THE BBC and STOP THE CUTS

No..you are WRONG BR.

a privatised BBC will be demolished as it races commercial stations into the gutter.

Murdoch wants a private BBC..if he wants it , it is not good for Britain..just his profits.

The people of Britain have spoken..the majority pay their license and get good value overall. You will pay more privately for rubbish.
