I also loved this film, its so heart warming and thought provoking, without been obviously sentimental. Its only been about a year since it was last on the bbc, but I was glad to see it again as I missed the start first time round.

I imagine this film only had a limited cinema outing when released as the masses like mind numbing films based on comic books or 70s remakes.
