TOPIC: We love Ann Widdecombe
#63375
We love Ann Widdecombe 13 Years, 6 Months ago
She has a delightful sense of humour and is such fun; I do hope this year's winner (Widdy) is there through entertainment value; screw all this art. My friend Bruno was very amusing about her (" a cross between horror and comedy").

I think Shilton or Daniels will get the boot tomorrow night. Widdy is wonderful. I was laughing out loud, especially at those moments when she was standing still and wagging her finger. Quite surreal and the most fun on the screen tonight (which has just gone dead for me as far as new shows are concerned - what a lousy schedule! I think I'll settle for another Dad's Army repeat.)

Ooh, I've just heard the result - a bit of a surprise.

..and Strictly is a far far better show than X Factor. Which proves my point that Cowell is not some genius TV guru. His bubble is about to be burst as I predict Strictly this season will trounce the X Factor in the ratings.

The results show is AWFUL. Musical bits from the week before (with Robbie Williams looking as though he'd had an accident in his kecks), a few minutes from last night cut up and spread out and the dreaded Winkelman, that stooping, squinting, spieling gargoyle, doing what appeared to be an homage to Bette Davis circa 'Whatever Happened to Baby Jane?' Woeful stuff.
