Here comes the Cold and Snow - In October ! 13 Years, 6 Months ago
www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1321288...Tuesday-onwards.html

Looks as if the predictions of a very cold winter may be true.

For most of the last 10 years October and even November have been reasonably warm and rarely has any central heating been needed.

After last year the chill setting in from December to February we had the coldest winter for 30 years.

This year could be worse because the Gulf Stream has supposedly been slowed dramatically by the Gulf Oil disaster. Though the media wont tell us about that.....BP have too much money in the UK.

If this Winter is worse than last year then I can imagine the Global Warming lobby will have to change their tune back to "New Ice Age" is coming and tax us on that instead.

yes and we are having them here...bitter cold spells (with snow in Melbourne) that last a few days with icy winds when it should be the end of Spring with blazing sunshine.

Something unusual is happening to the weather.

Sunspot activity is at its lowest since there were frost fairs on the Thames. That is what is happening, yet governments are still using climate change (note you rarely hear "global warming" any longer) as another stick to beat us with. How disingenuous.

We shouldn't be polluting the planet, but to suggest that human activity can override that big yellow thing in the sky is ludicrous. All the funding goes to scientists who tow the warming line. Those who disagree have to fend for themselves and have little voice.

Forget the global warming tosh, and get your cupboards and freezers stocked up, as last winter is nothing compared with what is to come.

A gardening friend of mine says that he has never seen so many berries on a Pyracanthra (is that what its called?) so early in the year.

These are a lifeline for birds in the winter.

Weather site The Weather Outlook predicting the third cold winter in a row .... something that only happens every 60 /70 years (last time during WW2).
