TOPIC: Scotland wakes up to justice
#64205
Scotland wakes up to justice 13 Years, 6 Months ago
www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotland-11622138

I was horrified to learn that police had the power to question suspects without a lawyer present for up to 6 hours!

Having almost been the victim of the corrupt police I shudder to think how many false convictions were obtained from vulnerable people this way!
When will this country realize how outdated and corrupt the whole justice system is? And of course injustice costs us all dearly.

... and the midges, Prunella !

IA - you pipped me on this one.

Incredible that what we would never allow in England has been going on in Scotland for years (and N Ireland too?)

They use the answers to build a case against you by twisting what you say.

No comment interviews with a denial statement are the only way to deal with corrupt Police.

This infuriates them greatly - especially when they have no evidence against you except for allegations !!!

Justice in the UK is non existent. Courts and Police do what they want in their own little World. They are not held to account at all.

Remember that DNA ruling saying it was illegal to hold DNA of non convicted criminals...........European Court.....still not complied with !!! LOL Our Justice System is basically illegal in the eyes of the World at its most basic level.

Respect for decency and law in terms of doing what is good YES but respect for a corrupt and criminal bunch of self serving people in the Courts and Police NO !
